I am currently employed as an Instructional Technology Consultant at the University of Michigan. I work within Instructional Support Services as a member of the Learning Technologies & Consulting Group. Essentially, I help faculty obtain grants and support for using educational technology to enhance their pedagogical approach.
My professional interests include technology instruction, instructional design, technology use in libraries, maker/hackerspaces, informal and digital learning, digital badge systems, information literacy, web design, graphic design, and community outreach.
I also created and run MakerBridge, a community for anyone--especially librarians and educators--interested in makerspaces and maker culture.
